Impact of climate change on shallow ground hydro-thermal properties

چکیده
Changes in hydro-thermal properties the unsaturated zone of shallow ground impacts stability and serviceability structures placed within that zone. Ground response to climate change is an important consideration has a bearing on soil dynamics depth reactive In this study, numerical model was developed VADOSE/w simulate suction, moisture content temperature variation under changing climatic conditions. Weather patterns three 10-year periods, 1990–2000, 2030–2040 2070–2080, were considered. Six sites from Australia with varying conditions chosen predict behaviour. Four different criteria determine equilibrium suction depth. Predictions indicated there will be increase temperature, while decreases future. A criterion based deems more appropriate demarcate Both tend predicted The influence water table highlighted. It recommended characteristics should considered along indices when estimating suction.

Investigating the effect of time scale variations of hydro climate parameters on the accuracy of LARS-WG6 climate change model
In this research, in order to investigate the effect of short and long term observational data on the quality of predicting climate parameters, the LARS-WG6 statistical downscaling model is performed for EC-EARTH model and the optimistic scenario RCP4.5 and the pessimistic scenario RCP8.5. Also the HadGEM2-ES model with the optimistic scenario RCP2.6 and the moderate scenario RCP4.5 and the opt...
متن کاملImpact of Climate Change on Outdoor Thermal Comfort and Health in Tropical Wet and Hot Zone (Douala), Cameroon
Abstract Background and purpose:Climate change has an important role on the health and productivity of the occupant of the building. The objective of this study is to estimate the effects of climate change on thermal comfort in hot and wet areas, as in the case of the city of Douala. Materials and Methods:The general circulation model (CSMK3 Model, Scenario B1) was adopted for this purpose.Outd...
متن کاملGround water and climate change
1 Ground water is an almost ubiquitous source of generally high-quality fresh water. These characteristics promote its widespread development, which can be scaled and localized to demand, obviating the need for substantial infrastructure1. Globally, ground water is the source of one third of all freshwater withdrawals, supplying an estimated 36%, 42% and 27% of the water used for domestic, agri...
متن کاملEvaluation of different sources of uncertainty in climate change impact reserach using a hydro-climatic model
The international research project QBic 3 (Quebec-Bavarian Collaboration on Climate Change) aims at investigating the potential impacts of climate change on the hydrology of regional scale catchments in Southern Quebec (Canada) and Bavaria (Germany). Yet, the actual change in river runoff characteristics during the next 70 years is highly uncertain due to a multitude of uncertainty sources. The...

The water resources of Côte d’Ivoire are very much used for water drinking supply of populations, breeding and also for the agriculture. But the abundance of this resource knew disturbances as from the years 1968 to 1970. These upheavals resulted in a fall of precipitat ions of 12.4% to 31.4% and flows which varied from 31.40% to 55.4%. The projections carried out on the hydro-climate parameter...
